This blog should be the perfect introduction for those who want improvise on a tune, a great opportunity for those who haven’t play the guitar for a while, and a chance to check the basics for the experienced.
It is also designed to be fun for beginners and advanced players who want to learn the guitar.
I have loved music since I was a child and dreamed of one day becoming a professional guitarist.
In order to study jazz seriously, I stayed in New York from 2001 to 2006.
I also had the opportunity to play with some great musicians during my five years in New York, which gave me many valuable experiences.
After coming back to Japan, I worked as a musician in Tokyo and Fukuoka until 2014, but I’m now retired.
Here’s what I’ve learned from my experience, and I hope you’ll find it useful.
When giving the tips, I will try to be simple as much as possible.
